The Lee Pro Melter 4-20 - 20lb. Electric Bottom Pour lead melter has a pot with a large diameter and a high capacity that can contain about 20 pounds of lead. Most sinker molds and all brands of bullet molds fit with a good 3 3/4 inches of room underneath the spout. To rapidly and precisely place any mold for pouring, it also comes with an adjustable mold guide. With the addition of a dust-tight casing, this second-generation lead melter version features the well-known, patented Lee high-efficiency design and reliable remote sensing thermostat.

Rapid melting and recovery are guaranteed by the long-lasting 700-watt tubular heating source. With a turn of the screwdriver, a micro-adjustable flow control valve rapidly adjusts. Instant reseating with the turn of a screwdriver is possible with the front-mounted, low-maintenance replacement valve spout.

This lee pro melter 4 will reach between 450 and 900 degrees Fahrenheit. Casting should be done at the lowest temperature possible for optimal fill-out. It's a good idea to start at 650 degrees.
